This month I’m doing specials on Wednesday, March 21st. The available time slots are:
9-9:20am, 9:25-9:45am, 9:50am-10:10am, 10:15am-10:35am, 10:40am-11am 12pm-12:20pm, 12:25pm-12:45pm, 12:50pm-1:10pm, 1:15pm-1:35pm, 1:40pm-2pm, 2:30pm-2:50pm, 2:55pm-3:15pm, 3:20pm-3:40pm, 3:45pm-4:05pm

The fact that a time slot is on this list does not necessarily mean it is available. So please give me a few options while booking (more on that below).

There are a few things to consider when choosing a background for someone's headshot. What is the skin and hair color? What is their clothing? What feeling do they want to project – Snuggly Teddy Bear or Chuck Norris? Do I need to match a style or color that their company is currently using?
During longer sessions, there’s more time to experiment with different options, but for larger group sessions (20 people and up) we usually have to make a decision and stick with it to keep to a schedule.

I use Paypal to collect deposits for my studio headshot sessions. It's very convenient, and since my local post office seems to lose about half of my mail, checks are not really an option.
If you don't have a Paypal account, don't worry, you can still use the service to send your deposit using your credit or debit card, as the photos here illustrate. I will send you an email via Paypal requesting the deposit. You can see a screenshot of that email above.

Clothing, makeup, jewelry and ancient Egyptian inspired fascinators

I probably don’t need to tell you that an ancient Egyptian inspired fascinator hat is not the ideal accessory for your headshot shoot. Neither is whatever you call that guy’s shirt. But it is a fun way to make an important point: When you are having a portrait done, your clothing should not distract from your face. Nor should your jewelry or makeup. The headshot is about your face and your personality, and anything that distracts from those will work against you (and be intensely frowned upon by your photographer).
